SIMPLE QUESTION FOR ADMIN!!!!
Hi
Will there be a version that runs under Mac OSX Mavericks? If so, WHEN?
This will test admin and actually see if there is anyone really out there who is still interested in Media Pro!
Does anyone have an alternative in mind? ❓ ☹️ ☹️ ☹️ ☹️ ☹️

I'm orienting on Lightroom
I'm now the same - I am focussed on LR. I have given up on Phase One. I now use MP as a feeder to Capture One of the photos I want to process there in sessions.
IMO, Phase One has made a big mistake trying to introduce a integrated photo catalog into CO and abandoning MP. I think they miscalculated on the resources needed to properly update MP. Now they have the capability to mess up two packages, CO & MP.
I input my photos onto my pc with LR, add most key words, sort rejects, and select by * those for further processing. I then sync my smaller MP database, and send those I want to process with CO into a session.
LR is far from perfect, but it doesn't hangup like MP, or crash.0 -

And Adobe is dedicated to the product to develop it further...0 -

Same here Jim, I've just about given up on it and CO7's catalogs are a very poor imitation of LR and just bog the program down even more. As much as I like CO7 if i have to move to a one does it all CO7 is not going to be the winner.0 -

With LR v3, I probably used CO 80 % of the time.
With LR 4, my usage gradually changed to CO 50%, LR 50%
These days, I'm 80% LR5, 20% CO7. LR has improved, MP has not, and CO, while still a better converter, is not that far ahead.
BTW, I am not a professional with huge output of file for print or customers; just a very dedicated photographer.0 -

I spoke with tech support regarding Media Pro and Mavericks. The answer (paraphrased) is, "We probably will release a Mavericks-certified version eventually, but because MP appears to work on Mavericks without any major problems, there is no pressing reason to release a version quickly."
I also asked whether Media Pro had been abandoned as a stand-alone DAM app. The answer (paraphrased) is, "No, Media Pro has not been abandoned, but Capture One development takes priority over Media Pro development."
For what it's worth, the support person did express empathy for users who are unhappy about the rocky road that iView/EM/Media Pro has traveled. But he didn't (or couldn't) comment on Phase One's vision for MP in the future.
Fortunately (for me) I'm still using Expression Media on Snow Leopard, and I will continue to use EM for as long as I can. It's possible that Expression Media might even work on Mavericks. See my thread "EM on Mac OS Mavericks?"0 -

See below, it's paraphrased but came direct from us when the customer created a Support Case.
One of our supporters in the US called him directly to clear up any concerns. We'd be happy to extend you the same courtesy should you wish to contact us through an appropriate channel.
As rmoorlag pointed out, this is a User to User forum. There is a direct contact path to Phase One and that is the support system.[quote="syncrasy" wrote:
