4.7 JPG Sharpening

I don't really need to work on jpgs in C1, but I
thought I'd check some out, just for giggles.
My God, what's going on with the sharpening?
Even with sharpening turned off, the result
is outrageously overdone, to the point of making
the file unusable.

Anyone else with the same experience?

    Yes, I saw that too in the preview. Not processed the jpeg yet because I do not intend to use it but was curious to try.
