I know WHY 4.5.x is CRASHING!!

How to duplicate:

The program saves settings every 5 minutes on the dot.

Make adjustments to multiple images between saves and then:: If you are moving the sliders during the moment the program is writing the settings (settings45 folder) the program will CRASH EVERY TIME.

I suppose a workaround would be to stop making adjustments for a minute during each 5 minute interval following the time you opened capture one ... but that would be ridiculous, please fix this asap!

I can duplicate every time on both machines:
Macbook Pro osx10.5.5 3g ram
MacPro osx10.5.5 8g ram

    Have you tried using Styles and trying to copy-paste the adj.
    to multiple images followed by File>Close Window ?
    It leads 4.5.1 to crash every time...

    They must fix things ASAP!!
    Apart from that the RAW files conversion quality is mind-blowing...

    I am having the exact same issues. I was a big supporter of 4.1.

    I have spent a week with support trying to get 4.5 and 4.5.1 stable for more than a minute or so - sometimes seconds. I have now given up and returned to 4.1.

    Have support answered your observations?

    Will not work on my Mac Pro ( 4gb) or MacBook Pro (6GB) both on 10.5.5. DB version with P20 files outputting to 16bit tiff in Jo Holmes 4 colour space.

    Same here, copy style crash when terminate c1

    1. I also run into an odd error when saving before copy style. Quit application w/o copy (You got the COP files)
    2. Start C1 4.5.1 and apply a style, copy it, and the program terminates when trying to do a WEB galery
    3. Restart, the C1 renames all xxxxx.COP to xxxxx.COP.error

    If I take away the .error extension I got back my settings before the Copy style (eg my cropping and rotate)


    EDIT:

    Just worked 500 images in 4.5.2 and no Crashes! Thanks guys!

    If we could just get the adjustment and navigation responsiveness up to 4.1 standards I'd be 100% happy 😊
