ColorChecker Profile in Capture One
I'm currently in my trial period of Capture One and considering the move from Lightroom. I have used LR for many years and now have about 150,000 photos in my catalog. One feature I use is the custom camera profiles, creating them in different light every time I get a new camera. I use the X-Rite ColorChecker Passport and I'm generally pleased with the results in LR.
Now that I'm in C1, is there a way to do this? I found several sites, like this one: http://www.colourspace.xyz/creating-cam ... pture-one/
That describe this process but I'm not sure if it's doing the same thing? I think in LR it makes a DNG profile, which is specific to Adobe. This process makes an ICC profile, but does it essentially adjust the color values in the same way?
If anyone has profiling experience with C1 I would love to know your thoughts.
Thanks!
