Corrupted file C1 Pro 4.5
Trying to get to know the new C1 Pro 4.5, something I have never seen before happened.
One image in the browser consisted of two different images merged together, left vertical half of the one and right half of the other. Processed it and the right half was just bands of colors, like when a file is corrupted. 🤬
Have never had this happen before. And the only new thing on my computer i C1 Pro 4.5, have been using 3.7.8 for years.
Has anyone else seen anything like it?
If it corrupts my files I will probably uninstall it sooner than later.

Sorry...wrong message, wrong reply... 0 -
Already got a reply from support, so they are looking into it. 😊 0 -
I have the same problem. Restarting appears to solve the problem, visually. 0 -
I am happy to say it must have been the drive that caused this. What was strange was that the same files that were corrupted in C1 4.5 would open fine in ACR and C1 3.7.8.
Anyway, I changed the drive and now it seems to be working perfectly.

I think it is the previews that are being messed up while they are generated. The same thing happened again now on a file from a brand new harddrive. Same file on backup was fine.
So I closed C1 and deleted the whole Capture folder in the directory of the images. When I restarted C1 the image was fine again.
This would also explain that last time I had this happen it did not affect C1 3.7.8 or ACR.
So I guess I changed the drive for no reason at all.
