NEF and image rendering

Hi guys,
I've an issue about the preferred engine configuration. Nikon WIC it seems to working wrong.
I use Expression Media 2 (EM2) and CaptureNX 2 (CNX2) and I'm trying new Media Pro 1 (MP1).

I try to explain you symptoms are troubling me:

a) My O.S. is Windows Vista
b) 3 virtual desktops (Virtuawin) >> the monitor profile is managed right >> CNX2 on desktop 1; MP1 on desktop 2; EM2 on desktop 3
c) My camera is a Nikon D300 (p.c. "neutral")
c) I watched, simultaneously, the same NEF image (slight processing on CNX2)

1)
- EM2 (p.e. Manufacturer) and CNX2 >> Colours are shown in the same manner
- MP1 (p.e. WIC) >> colours appear with slow contrast and magenta cast

2)
- EM2 (p.e. WIC) and MP1 (WIC) >> Colours are shown in the same manner and they appear with slow contrast and magenta cast
- CNX2 >> colours are shown rightly

This behaviour is a big problem for me ☹️

Do you have in your mind to restore "Manufacturer" option? Yes, I know, it give you many problem on Mac and few on Windows but... 3 options are better than 2 😄
Do you have any idea to solve the issue?

Thank you for the detailed report. Since this forum is intended as a user-to-user forum, please also create a support ticket using the official Phase One technical support page to directly inform Phase One of this problem. Someone else created a similar thread about this topic when MP1 was first released (see: Media Pro 1 Mac: Will we get manufacturer rendering back?) but no one from Phase One has commented on the issue in this forum. Creating a support ticket is the best way to get their attention.

I will not purchase MP1 as long as this issue exists.
