Media Pro backward compatibility ?

Hi Guys,

this my first post.
I have a simple question - Can Expression Media open Catalogs made in Media Pro 1 ?

    Hi

    Media Pro is backwards compatible, in other words it can open catalogs made in Expression Media.
    However Expression Media is not future compatible and can not open Media Pro catalogs.

    One of the new features in Media Pro is that catalogs can be significantly larger. Due to this the format has changed so much that it is not possible to keep cross version compatibility.
