Feature Requests
Hi,
I'm trying out Capture One Pro and I have some feature suggestions:
Color Balance
Allow it to be an adjustment so it can be specific to an area
Give it a color picker so an area with a cast can be read. When it is read, display the reading (with a point like the color editor) on the appropriate (highlights, midtones or shadows) color balance wheel. Then you could display a line on the wheel exactly opposite of the sample so users could quickly set the color for balancing out the cast if that is what they need to do.
Color Temperature
Allow it to be an adjustment so it can be specific to an area
Give the user the option of being able to apply it to shadows, midtones or highlights. Being able to cool the shadows or warm the highlights looks more natural (and easier to determine) if the user could use the color temperature slider as opposed to picking a color using color balance.
Tonal Controls
Right now, there doesn't appear to be a way to set (or even know) the actual ranges for shadows, midtones or highlights. Ideally, the user could set the values on the tool being used where applicable (range might vary by image) or at least be able to set them globally in preferences.
