Catalogue Function
Am considering the use of the built in catalogue function, purely for the indexing/searching capabilities. However I have not been able to find the answer to a potential issue.
My preference would be to use the reference option when compiling the catalogue because I don't want the images moved from my present folder structure. The reason being that I also want the images available to other software
My question is: when the catalogue is generated, are the image settings files moved into the catalogue or can they be left where they are so I can continue to edit using sessions?
Thanks
Peter

On importing (referenced) images you can choose to include existing adjustments (you made with sessions).
The originating adjustments are read, remain in place untouched and be used in the session later on.
Note however that there is no sync mechanism between the adjustments in the imafe folder and in the catalog.0 -
