Capture one 12 preview generation is so slow it's almost imp
I've got a high-end gaming PC and have no trouble running anything, including photoshop. I could run Capture One 11 with photoshop and illustrator open and no trouble at all.
I've got a session with just over 100 images, I've got almost 1 TB of free disk space, and for some reason it takes over 1 minute to generate a preview when I pick an image. Then, if I view a few other images and come back to the initial one, it has to regenerate the preview again. I tried selecting all 111 images and regenerating previews, and the program just hangs and doesn't do anything.
Taskmanager shows less than 5% total CPU usage and 33% RAM usage. Low disk write bandwidth. I'm stumped - anyone have similar issues?

Contact the Capture One Support team via a Support Case and they will provide personalised support.
It certainly does not sound right but you might need the log files and some experienced suprt and development people to spot the exact nature of the problem.

Hi, could you say how did you fix the issue please?. Thank you 0 -
Same problem here but so slow it makes the program impossible to use. The program is NOT reading the built-in preview and it is excruciatingly slow at making it's own. 0
