Luminosity Mask and spot removal bleed through
Hi,
I have a surprising issue... or perhaps I am not getting it...
I got a photo with a dust spot.
by using spot tool I remove it - works.
add a filled layer and use luminosity tool (Luma Range) to select the sky - works
select this layer and reduce exposure to darken the sky - works.
but.... 😡 now I see the spot again. it appears as if it is bleeding through or as if the mask apply to the original photo and ignores the spot removal.
any idea what is wrong here?
I am using CO 12.0.3.22.

As an experiment try re-creating the spot removal as the last activity to see what happens.
I suspect the spot removal tool may not be dynamic - or at least not in the way you expect.
In some situations it may not be desirable (even if possible) to make the spot adjustment dynamic so as to change automatically with other changed values for the selected area.
Dust spots may be a different matter.
