Tiff files not showing in browser/thumbnail window 8.1

...you do not have the way to display and select a tiff file with an embeded alpha layer, in order to import it.

regarding the TIFF specification it is a lack that forbid interoperability with files coming from other sources than C1
it is the reason why I tell C1 should be updated for the next revision

    At present Capture One does have some restrictions for TIFF files.
    We hope to improve this in the future. Thank you for your patience.
