Is Mavericks necessary?
I'm sure to other MacHeads this question may be sacrilegious, but does Mavericks bring anything of value to CaptureOne Pro v7? I've spent a lot of money on the latest iMac with SSD, graphic card, motherboard, and buttloads (lots) of RAM, but I can't find anything in Mavericks that will make CaptureOne Pro better. Went back to the previous Mountain Lion version to guarantee stability. Anyone disagree?

I am a long time Snow Leopard holdout on my main working Mac Pro but I have newer laptops that came with 10.8 and 10.9 and I have to say 10.9 feels much better to me - especially after disabling all of the iOS features. 0 -

But, does it make CaptureOne Pro v7 better? That's my question.0 -
I feel Mac OSX in general went way downhill with 10.7 and 10.8 and that 10.9 is a move back up that hill. So the OS feels better to me over all than the last 2 versions. That makes C1P and other operations work better for me. 0 -

Unless you have a brand new mac, where you will need the drivers for it from 10.9, then no. I would actually say the opposite, as 10.8, over time, have more milage.0
