lens profiles grayed out

downloaded the mac trial and loaded my .rw2 files (from gx7 and 12-35 zoom) into a catalog. most functions work except the lens correction. the only thing i can do here is add chromatic aberration correction. the profile is set to none and cannot be changed. an LCC cannot be created.

however, importing a .nef file seems to allow lens correction (and it correctly identify the lens used)

why are my rw2 files being difficult?

  so i tried the windows demo with the same files. Capture one doesn't even allow me to import RW2 files. Still I can import net files though. These rw2 files are seen by lightroom 5.3 and they are simply raw captures. Does Capture 1 not work with panasonic files?

  tnx for the page reference. i guess the mac C1 is not ready for gx7 files yet

  It's only the distortion model that is not enabled, the files themselves can easily read, adjusted and processed
