Exposure warning not working

I am running C 3.7 on a Dual 2.5 G5 with 4GB of ram running tiger and although I have my highlight warning level set in preferences, it doesn't seem to be working.

  This is working correctly.
  Have you made sure that exposure warning is active?
  Triangular icon in the top menu bar.

  Yes, of course I have clicked it.
  
  I've always used it in the former versions and never had a problem. But now, it doesn't seems to be working for me.

  Try deleting your plist file in Library/Preferences. This of course will reset your software to a \"vanilla\" installation, and you will have to put back all of your preferences (ISO, File format, Camera settings, etc.).

  I threw away the preferences file and application support folders located in:
  Home folder>Library>Preferences>com.phaseone....plist
  Home folder>Library>Application Support>Phase One
  
  But the exposure warning is still broken.
