    Roschtatoschta,

    Thanks for the reply.

Being very new to this is there a step by step procedure for processing these NEF files?

Is it possible to convert these NEF's to JPEG after tuching them up?

Thanks so much for your time in helping me out with this, very much appreciated.

Just do it like it is described in the CaptureOne Documentation. Start with WB, then exposure (contrast/saturation) followed by sharpening and noise removal - actually this is also the order of the tool tabs. Maybe add straightening or cropping as first step if necessary. Then you can output the raw to different file formats such as tiff or jpg.

Converting your files with CaptureOne is really easy, just follow the workflow they suggest (by the order of the tabs or in the manual) and you'll be fine.

    Cheers,

    Carsten

    Edited for missing words/grammar.

Sure, contact me if there are any problems. BTW, besides reading the manual and playing around with every slider and toolbox CaptureOne offers I also suggest to watch the online tutorials available at the web site.

    Bye,

    Roschtatoschta,

Was not able to get much done over the weekend, busy with Grandson's birthday party and such.

Have looked at some but not all of the tutorials, they are very helpfull.

Will let you know of my \"progress\".

    Thanks,
