WYSIWYG gone AWOL or am I dreaming ?
Coming to grips with the package reasonably well,
but somewhere along the line, I must have changed a setting
and now I am definitely not getting what I am seeing.
JPEG result is a lot more contrasty and saturated.
Is there a preview mode or control I am unaware of ?
(WYSIWYG does not bring up any search results)

Hi Gippshot,
I don't want to be picky but I guess the information you provided might be a little to little.
And in general, Wysiwyg is not really possibile in digital photography, you should familiarize with color management in general, if not already done.
How do do define wyg (what you get): an exported/processed jpg preview in an (which) application? Printer?
What do you compare the JPEG result to, imported JPEG, developed Raw?
However I have an assmuption, taking your word regarding a changed setting, you might want to check menu "View" > Proof profile. Regargind Proof Profiles you'll certainly find a lot in the online help or forum.
You might also have a look into edit>preferences>color>rendering intent.
Hope this helps.
Cheers

To cover (all) the above, I am comparing the view in Capture One of the finished PP,
to the resultant JPEG; as viewed in FastStone ( or online, or in any of half a dozen other viewers).
I am VERY well acquainted with colour management but this Workflow works perfectly for me in LR, Aftershot, Zoner
and even FastStone itself.[/color:29tmwgp8]

Yes, have tried these, I use sRGB as a standard and have never had such a variation between
a RAW editor's preview and it's product.
(It is of an order similar to the difference between adobeRGB and sRGB, to try and paint you a picture)
Hence I feel, I have stooged something or the cam profile (Sony A7R) is not ideal.[/color:29tmwgp8]
You might also have a look into edit>preferences>color>rendering intent.
Thank you again, but this did not provide a variation anywhere near what I am getting.
Thank you for your thoughts.

Hi again.
And you did not change the C1 version, or a or something else on the computer? Does it occur with old images too?
Sorry, no further idea.
