Share rating and Keyword with other Programes

Hi There and Happy New year to you all

It looks like i have found a bug or doing something wrong
if i add keyword to my photos inside the catalog it is not shown in other programs or in a new Catalog
that said some keyword from my Aperture time will be there but nothing form Co

is there a way to write the meta data into the files

  What setting are you using for Preferences > Image > Metadata > Auto Sync Sidebar XMP? Mine is set to Full Sync.

  Even if you do that, Aperture won't write keywords to the xmp and won't read new ones from it. Lightroom and Photo Mechanic will I think.
  
  The only time Aperture writes to an xmp is when you export and ask it to create an xmp; but I think you are trying to keep Aperture keywords in sync with C1P9 which I don't think you can do, unfortunately.
