Capture One 9.1.1 synchronizing question

I just added a new subfolder of images to my Unedited Shoots folder. When I right-click on my Unedited Shoots folder and choose Synchronize, it doesn't find any updates. I have checks in all the options on the Synchronzing Folder window.

I am confused why nothing is appearing. Shouldn't Capture One be scanning that folder on my drive and detecting changes?

"Import 0 new images" remains.

How can I get these new images into Capture One?
