Timed exposure issues tehthered

Newbie here with CP1. Im evaluating the software and want to use it mostly for timed exposures. When using "bulb" for the shutter speed, and use the Capture button in the software I get an error.

I really hope that this is possible as I'd like to control the timed exposure remotely.

Any other software that will do this, as I know that EOS Capture cannot.

  First I will say that the Capture button in the program is for Phase One Digital Backs only.
  Then I'll say I can trigger my 20D form G4 PwrBook all day long.
  Maybe it is the B mode setting.?
  
  I suspect you will need one ot the Remote Control Accessories from Canon to use this with confidence.

  Thanks. So can you control your 20D with Capture One while the camera is in Manual and the shutter speed is "bulb"?
  
  I can control it with every other shutter speed except bulb. Maybe a limitation of the application.
