Programatically open a folder in C1?
Is there any way to open a folder in C1 from the command line or the Windows Explorer context menu? (I'm actually surprised C1 doesn't natively support some kind of \"Open Folder in C1\" shell extension like WinZip.)
I'm looking for better integration between C1 LE and iView MediaPro, my DAM software of choice. I want to either open a folder directly from MediaPro, or, more generally, to right click on a folder in Windows Explorer and have a \"Open Folder in C1\" option.
This would be easy if C1 had a command-line option for setting which folder to start in, but it doesn't. I'm vaguely aware of a VB interface, but I'm not sure how to leverage it.
Where is the documentation for this VB interface? Does anyone have a working example of a script that actually makes C1 do something? I have no VB experience, but I am a C++ software engineer, so I can probably cobble something together with the docs and an example or two.
Any pointers would be welcome.
P.S. I'm running WinXP SP2 with the latest version of C1 LE (and MediaPro, if that's relevant).
