sharpening output issues

I have a problem with the sharpenig output in c1 4.
When developed in c1 and opened in photoshop or any other programm even in c1 itselv the developed image offers less contrast and is not as quarter as sharp than the preview.
Not to be missunderstood - i'ts not a "must" for me to have supercrisp sharpness from the rawconverter. But I want to get what I see in preview! Otherwise a converter makes no sense - does it?
I set a link to a screenshot illustrating what I mean. It shows the c1 preview compared to the dircetly from the preview developed tif also opened in c1.


Is there anybody else with similar issues? Perhaps I'm I doing wrong something?

    That's how it look like on my system: (~7,4MB; PSD 2layers with screenshots C1 and PS).
    just to ask... are you sure you enabled sharpening in output before process?

    Be sure I am 😉
    (take a look at the screenshot - the actual developing settings are visible on the panel - "disable sharpening"-checkbox isn't marked)
    Your problem seems to bee similar. Not that obvious at the first look, but clearly visible in magnification.

    Yes, you can see that there is something different. But why should I zoom in? If you look at the image with regard to print you should view it smaller at 50% (...).
    This kind of slight difference between preview and output is absolutely acceptable for me (the tif has 16bit depth ... with regard to that the preview is really good). Especially as I never do the sharpening in the raw software. In your case it's obviously the difference between sharp and soft... so there's something wrong. But I can't reproduce your difference on my computer ... so this is not a general issue of C1 V4.

    Is there any one having color issues with the processed images over the previews. My processed images look slightly brighter than the preview, although there are no sharpness variations to speak of as easily seen Aborre's example. However I do see the processed image in Aborres sample to be slightly brighter as well, but it is more evident in one of my shots. I want to check the sample on another computer first before I post a sample.

    Are there color settings in C1 4 or Windows XP that I am missing.

    Another thought regarding the sharpness issues. I have noticed in other Windows applications whereas settings will "hang" until the application is restarted or worse Windows is restarted. Have you ever processed a file with the sharpening disabled then re-enabled it to process the sample image.
