Failure to load an adjustment mask
Suddenly the event log has popped up showing an error for some of my images saying
What is going on? How can a mask go missing? Isn't the information about it stored in the files C1 creates? If I look in the Settings91 folder related to these of images, there are a fair number of files with the .comask extension, and they all seem to have a date and time stamp of today timed at the time I opened the C1 session (rather than presumably when I created the masks).
- Why would C1 replace them all like that?
- Can I restore the .comask files from my Time Machine backup and expect the masks to be restored?
- Can I stop this happening again?
- If I open a different folder of images, is there a risk of the same thing happening? If so I am reluctant to do so!
(I seem to recall a post before about blank masks, but I couldn't find it. And sure enough, the images concerned still the existence of adjustment layers, but pressing M reveals no mask.)

[Edited to add Capture One Pro 9.2.1 running under OSX El Capitan 10.11.6 on an iMac.]
[Edited again to add that experiment shows that I can reinstate the mask by restoring the .comask file from backup. That could get quite tedious if I had to do it for every affected image, though.]
Description: An adjustment mask for an image is missing. The missing mask has been replaced by an empty mask.

Did you get this resolved? We are having the same issues, have just reported to support.
Capture One Pro 9.2.1 OSX El Capitan 10.11.60 -
I believe this issue is solved by 9.3. At least, the release notes have this: Fixed an issue causing local adjustment masks not to be persisted properly
Cheers,
