Masking and Pan tools
Hi
I'm doing something the hard way and there must be a trick I'm missing.
I'm using the Draw / Erase Masks at quite a high zoom level and with 'always display draw mask' clicked. When I want to move around the image I click the hand icon Pan tool to get to where I want to see. When I pan I loose the red mask and once I'm in the part of the image to mask I have to recheck the mask tool. Is there a way in the Local Adjustments screen on the left of the main image to pan the image whilst keeping the large mask image in the main pane?
Thanks
Jon

Jon,
Hold down the Space Bar rather than switch to the "Hand Tool".
The spacebar is the "Hand Tool" shortcut without having to actually switch between the tools and thus turn on/off the Mask.0 -
Perfect. That makes things much easier. Thanks Drew. 0
