Custom Fields To Metadata?
I use the custom fields for the name of the model, stylist, hair, etc and love that these are easy to find in MP because they are using custom fields rather than a morass of hierarchy keywords. However, I cannot get to these values later in a generated JPG for example. I would love a method to get the custom fields into metadata somehow, even if I have to get those values into the comments area. Any ideas?

The Keywords field is the most 'compatible' field so i think it's best to use that for it. 0 -
There are a multitude of metadata fields, many of which are often left unused. I would suggest choosing some appropriate fields to use in the future instead of creating custom fields. For example, here are the fields available in the IPTC Extension (instead of IPTC Core):
(I don't have a copy of MediaPro in front of me, so I'm not positive that MediaPro accesses the IPTC Extension fields)

For a group of photos which have already used custom fields, you could switch the data over to the "standard" IPTC fields via a script if you chose.0
