the most important thing you mentioned is that you could not find a feature request system - because there isn't one.
why i do not know but it would be a really useful tool - relatively easy even adobe has one.

this isn't my favorite one but its better than sending in a private support case to each request:

You can file multiple requests in one support case if you like.

I agree with your feature requests, all of these are on the mark. Just wanted to point out that I myself did one little "tweak" that greatly improved my working speed in C1: Assigning a keyboard shortcut to "Toggle Viewer". I chose Command-G for this, this gives the following nice and well grouped shortcuts:

Command-B: Toggle Browser (in the viewer only)
    Command-G: Toggle Viewer (my choice)
Command-T: Toggle Tools (I almost laways have these on)

I like to switch quickly between only browser view (all thumbnails) and full image view (only viewer), I rarely use the filmstrip browser below the viewer (but cant toggle that on and off with Command-B). Pressing Command-G allows me to do this, and solved my number one workflow slowdown when first starting using C1. I recommend C1 assigns a keyboard shortcut to toggle viewer by default in the future, but for now assigning one manually works great.

    Cheers,
    Andreas

    Great list of feature requests.

One thing to point out, although it doesn't actually adress your need... If you are working in a session rather than a catalog, you can output a TIFF image into your session structure and automatically open the file in Photoshop. Since you don't need to import into a session, the file will appear just as you would expect. I do think they have missed this flow from the catalog functionality. All that would have been needed was the option to automatically add the output image to the catalog.
