colour balance problem

hi, i'm using a rental mac and it's being a bit bizarre...

i'm shooting tethered with a Hasselblad H2 to a Mac Pro (2x 3.2 GHz Quad Xeon) using
capture 1 pro 3.7.9.

using the white balance tool i cannot set the white balance. i want to shoot at 5750k and +4 magenta but the software keeps putting the colour temp at 6000k +5!!

also when i try to apply my settings to all the images in a session the software won't apply the colour balance settings to all the images!!

any ideas?
