Round Trip problems after upgrade.

I'm not following you here. Why did you "move your catalogues over" to C1 v11?

When I do an upgrade, I simply open the existing catalogue with the new version of C1. Sometimes, it may need to convert the catalogue, but it's something it does of its own accord.

Have you tried opening your original catalogue directly with v11?

    Regards

Hi,the mistake I made was several months ago when I trailed v 11 so I cant remember exactly what I did wrong. I think I imported my main catalog to v11 instead of opening it in v11. At the moment I can open my catolog in v9 and v11 but the v9 catolog does not have any files I added using v11. To answer your question I cannot see an option to open the v9 catolog in v11. What I’m asking is how can I now open my original catalog in v11 correctly and hopefully save the files I have recently added in v11. Thanks.

    I don't clearly understand. You might know that you can't open a V11 catalog with v9 version of C1, an't you ?
The best way is to get rid of your v9 catalog and version, and use only v11.

I still don't understand. As someone else noted, you can use v11 to open v9 catalogues, but not the other way around. So you should be able to open your original v9 catalogue with C1 v11.

As a first thought, I would open C1 v11, from within C1, I would open your v9 catalogue, and I would then add the image files you've loaded onto your Mac which don't appear in that catalogue using the import dialogue. At that time, you can also tick the avoid duplicates option.

Question: how many C1 catalogues do you have - one or two?

Everytime you open a catalog from a previous release version on a newer one, it will write a new catalog (based on a copy).

It is not possible to use version 11 to write into a v9 catalog.
