sessions
Hi
We very often do multiple day shoot for clients and shoot a lot of pictures per day .
i usualy create one session with all different days inside , the computer gets quite slow after 10 days ... I´ve always wondered if it wasn´t better for the computer speed to create one session per day ? I ve seen digital guys create a session per picture .... but i wont do that its a wast of time !

I would prefer a session per day. 0 -
Carl,
Depending on the workload a session per day or a session per shot are really subjective. The main pointers to retain speed are to keep your Capture Folder size within a reasonable size for your hardware and the session file itself small.
A large Capture Folder is more work for Capture One/the computer and a large session folder (usually gets this way if using the same COL file for long stretches of time) puts strain on the constant access that Capture One employs to save data to that file.0
