WEB contact sheet creation

Did you get a response to this? I'm experiencing the same problem. It seems when I make a crop to the images and then create a web contact sheet all of the images are pixelated when I click on the thumbnail to view the full size. Any suggestions? Thanks!

No response I'm afraid. I have gone back to an old computer which has version 4.1.1 to create my web galleries as this is
something I use for a lot of jobs and this version produces good web pages. Version 5 makes the same images look out of
focus when I generate a gallery which is really annoying.
It is a shame as this is a great feature in C1pro and I would be happy to use another web gallery software if anyone has a good suggestion?
However I hear that there is a new verion of C1pro soon so hopefully this will be solved.
    Thanks.

    Hey guys
The image size preference in capture one needs to be as big as the image preview in the web gallery. So go to preferences/General/Cache and make sure Image Preview Size is at least the same size you need for the Web contacts. Making it too big will slow the rendering of the folder though. Also you may need to quit and restart to start rebuilding the Cache for the current folder.

Thanks for your input. I now have good previews thanks to your tip but I still have a problem with the thumbnail
images - they look very soft. Is there any way of improving the qaulity of these?

If you have the will, there is a way. The html is open to adjustment and you can always process out new thumbnails, using the same naming convention as the Contact Sheet and simply replace one for the other.

Thanks for that. Could you please give me some info on how to do this?

The easiest way is to simply Process Small JPEG files that are in the proper dimensions for a thumbnail. Then, rename them the "FILENAME.EXTENSION.t.jpg". You can then replace your thumbnails with the newly processed files.

Unless I am in terrible error, I think the file name format of a thumbnail for image name GARDEN.EXT is "GARDENt.jpg".
You can find and replace them in Contact Sheet > photos > thumbnails folder.
