What are your default settings for noise suppression, banding suppression and sharpening with the different revs? Also, what ISO setting? I have a 1Ds and a 1D MII and can run some parallel tests but I don't see this kind of hatching with C1, even at 400%.

I think the defaults changed between revs ... this is what I'd expect with a relatively high ISO shot with a lot of sharpening, maybe? Would be willing to run a couple of tests if you'll provide the four parameters mentioned above.

Looks like really highly compressed JPG to me.

    Mike -

I caught your original post over at Rob G, and posted a response there. I'll post it here, too, just to make sure the Phase One folks see it.

    From Rob Galbraith's site:

Back in February or March, I had the same issues - and a rather involved discussion about on Michael Tapes' RawWorkflow site. Here's a link:

Along with this discussion, I put up some examples on my own site. I'd forgotten about them, but they are still there:

In my case, I eventually tied the \"blockiness\" to the fact that I was forcing a specific output dimensions within C1. Once I unchecked that box, and let C1 set the output as it wished, the blockiness was gone - and then I did any upsizing needed within Photoshop.
