White balance on an adjustment layer

Is there a relatively straightforward way to use C1 adjustment layers for correcting a mixed-light image where, say, most of the image is in tungsten light, but a section of the image is in window light--without having to process two variants and merge them using Photoshop? Since there's no way to apply White Balance as an adjustment layer, I'm assuming there's a clever way of using the Color Editor to do this, but...any tricks?

  WB on the tungsten and desaturate the blue in a layer.
