Major performance issue in EM2

I have been complaining about this since microsoft bought iView. They claimed to have fixed it in EM2, but only made it worse! This is the reason my bosses are forcing me to move on to Extensis. PhaseOne will fix it....but I don't have the choice to wait around ☹️

Get ready because they will tell you to start a support case rather than deal with it here. Makes sense I guess...

I agree. Please create a support case so we can look into it further.

    Will do. Thank you, Drew.

Edit: Err, I give up. How do you create a support case? Entering my account, there isn't anywhere to add my EM2 license. Further, the support process requires you to enter a PhaseOne digital back as an item before you can proceed to the following pages. I don't have one, just EM2. So I just selected the first back to get to the next page. Well, then a required field to file a support issue is the back's serial number. Again, I don't have one.

It is essentially impossible to enter a support case for just the EM2 software.

This couldn't be further from the truth. We have people create support cases that don't own, operate or even know what products are associated with our company. The system has required information so the issue can be addressed by a supporter quicker than without said information. If you're confused about what is required, just lie and clear it up in the description.

Mmm, not quite. As your image shows, a camera back choice is required before it will let you go to the next page. Yes, I lied there and just selected "something". But the next page requires you to enter the serial number for the back you selected. If it accepts any ol' number, then you could continue, but I haven't tried that yet. I'm assuming the site will check to see if the number is even close to valid.

    It graciously accepts "N/A".

Excellent! Will get this going then as a support case. Thanks.
