Importing files with adjustments from LR5
Currently in Capture one the lens I'm using is not on the lens correction list. Can I make the correction in LR5 and then import into Capture one? If so what are the steps?

Greetings!
The short answer is... no, not really.
You can of course import your RAW files from LR5, however LR is it's own RAW processing engine, as is Capture One Pro.
This means that RAW adjustments made in LR (or Adobe Camera RAW, since its the same engine) will not be read by Capture One - and vice versa, RAW adjustments made in Capture One cannot be ready by LR/ACR
You COULD make adjustments in Lightroom and then export the images to a TIF format and THEN make edits in Capture One but since you've gone from RAW to pixels you lose a lot of latitude in terms of what can be adjusted so I would advise against this.
These two programs can be used in a complementary way but more often it is a situation where you use one or the other, but not both.
When I do occasionally see users who want to use LR and Capture One together in their workflow, image ingest (or tethered capture) is done in Capture One, RAW edits are done in capture one, TIF or PSD files are exported from Capture One and then everything is imported in to LR in order to use Lightroom's organization/catalog properties.0 -
Thanks for the response. I do use Capture one to process my Raw files and then export TIF file to LR for management and a few tweeks. I like the Capture on colors a lot more. I thought there was an option to import LR catalog with adjustments, so I thought maybe you could bring them over but I don't want my entire catalog copied to Capture one. 0
