Set defaults for next capture naming

is it possible to set a default user created preset for the next capture naming format?

is there a way to set a default white balance?

both so that when i start c1 it is setup the way i need it to be.

    In a workaround: yes.

    The key here is that capture naming is stored as a session or catalog property, not a program property, as are a few other items in CO7.

    You could create a template session/catalog and copy and rename that each time you create a new one. In that template you set your desired settings like capture naming.
