C1DB 3.7.7 on Mac OS 10.4.8 unable to open preference

Hi, I have 3 computers running Mac OS 10.4.8 installed with capture one DB 3.7.7. One of them is an Intel Based Mac. However, I was unable to open the preference. I have searched the forum and tried deleting the .com.phaseone.applications files from the preference folder and I still cannot open the preference. Any other ideas?
