MP for Ipad

I'am dreaming of an Ipad version of the MP catalog reader , or a light Media pro for iPad.
I don't find any good app to look at hundreds of pictures on an iPad, sorting them by date, or stars or tags or Gps localisation.
is it something Phaseone is working on ?

Portfolio for iPad is quite good, although it doesn't do everything MP can do.

And actually I've been using MP fine, pretty much every day, with no more issues than any other application. It did actually lock up today, I can't remember when that last happened. Possibly the fact that I had Photoshop, Bridge, Aperture and Sigma Photo Pro running at the same time didn't help....

People seem to come here just to complain (well, like all forums, then). And I'm sure they have real, genuine issues. But that doesn't mean that 99% of MP users are quite happy. Or not. Who knows ? There's no basis for extrapolation, and none at all for saying that "MP doesn't work".

David1 - don't you have the problem with picture orientation? (a basic bug that is driving me absolutely crazy - and alas away from the otherwise very good MediaPro).

honestly, really, I don't have any problems at all. I am using MP mainly to catalog PSD files, as I use Aperture for RAW, but even so, I have some extensive catalogs of RAW images and they don't cause me any issues.

I do have a few wishes, the top two being able to open multiple views on the same catalog (there's a workaround - just duplicate the catalog, but it's not ideal), and a real simple one, have labels sync with the OS (OS X) in my case.

But I really can't say I find MP anything other than stable and responsive. I've even gotten use to the colour scheme 😊

Of course, I'm going to regret this post.... doubtless MP will now turn into evil incarnate.

You CAN get finder labels to match Media Pro labels. Media Pro 1.4/Preferences/Labels and Colors - check the box near the bottom of the window "apply to original media file" The only thing is that media pro has 9 labels and os 10.6 has only 7.
