C4 preview
I have been using capture software for about 6 years. C3.7 has been great.
Tried C4 when it first came out but I really didn't like the lack of a focus window among other things.
Long story short I have delayed upgrading, as C4 does not read settings from C3.7. A bit of a archiving problem for me. So I hear C3.7 will not work with snow leopard so it looks like I have to eventually bite the bullet or keep a separate system with 10.5.8.
When testing the latest C4 again, I noticed the same problem again with the preview. It is a bit contrasty at "fit" view. It only looks closer to the processed file when the viewer is at 100%.
It looks to me that the new unsharp mask ,the C4 is now using, is applying the same sharpening to the small preview as the full image, making it over-sharpened & hard to edit.
So if have the sharpening off, the preview is closer to the final processed image but this means I have to toggle sharpening on & off depending if I'm looking at the whole image, 100% view & processing.
Am I the only guy seeing this?
