Capture 6.1 on a Sandy Bridge PC
I have just build a Sandy bridge computer, I7 2600K processor, 8gb of ram, NVidia GTX 570 graphics card running Windows 7 professional 64 bit
Using RAW files from EOS 7D the response is instant within the Capture 6.1 interface and the processing to a 20% JPEG takes about 3 Seconds
I downloaded the 234mb TIF file Masha1102.tif from the phase one web site, flipping from normal to 100% magnifications has about half a second delay, this is acceptable, exporting to a 20 per cent jpeg files takes about 4 seconds
PS The times on the process bar are way out, I wonder if it is based on an old processor.
