Any idea where does CO5 store IPTC metadata...? Adobe Bridge for example stores it to .xmp files but I don´t see CO5 doing it...

The other question is about Settings45/Settings 50 - folders...

As I understand it Settings45 refers to CO4 and Settings50 to CO5. The question is, what happens if I search and delete all the Settings 45 - folders before CO5 has made Settings50 - folders ? Will all the previous (CO4) settings be lost and I have to do it all again...?

  First quick look shows that CO5 stores IPTC metadata in the adjustments files.
  
  Regarding your second question: yes. CO5 automatically copies and converts any image folder with Settings4x files to Settings50 files in the respective folder. If you remove a Settings45 folder before the Settings50 folder and files has been created, you will loose the adjustments.
