Capture One Pro 10 with 24-120+d810
Hi everyone, I'm just trying C1pro 10 with the Nikkor 24-120mm F4G ED VR AF-S and the Nikon D810.
At the moment I did only outdoor photos, by hand, without tripod.
I noticed two things:
1) The jpg file you get weighs about 10mega more than the same exported with Lightroom (about 36 to 26mega)
2) I can not completely correct the chromatic aberrations in the high contrast areas, which I did with LR perfectly without any problems ...
Does anyone use this set of products and can you suggest something?

Hello!
I have D810 as well.
Size of final images (Jpeg, in your case) depends on different factors and parameters.
You can control quality and size of images in the RECIPES setting.
In the Lens, you can control what you get from your lenses. If you find, that images from some of your lenses require the same corrections every time, you can save them as a profile for your lens for future use...

10MB is because the default output of JPEG is at 90% vs LV12 of Lr, if you slide all the way to 100% expect 26-36MB files
C1 is a different beast to Lr will take a little learning curve đ0 -

Yes, you put your image on some external host like Flickr or Dropbox, then put a link to it between the Img tags.

Are you making your assessment at 100% view size?
Are you seeing a problem on outputs?

For file of the jpgs... No, no problems in output with C1pro and with LR... all 100% quality jpg's...

C1pro does not like my Nikkor 24-120... I try to remove purple fringings and similar effects completely, but no, completely not possible...

Typically, if you adjust purple fringing etc and just look at the preview, you don't see a change. You need to look at it at 100%.

With LR, no color at the borders, with C1, slightly color remains âšī¸0 -
Did you try this too, pressing Analyze? That scans the image extra for problematic aberrations.

The correction in the C1 screen shots almost looks like it is too strong and has overshot the correction required.
Unless you have some very strong adjustments of other types - saturation and contrast perhaps? - it is difficult to explain.
I would probably change the Profile to Linear and start from there to see what can achieved with the diffraction before doing anything else to the image.
If you can get a better result there I would then try applying the rest of your adjustments one at a time to see what effects they have.
As you probably know you can do all of that with a new variant and display the images side by side in the viewer as you are doing it to make it easier to compare the results.
You might also want to consider creating a Support Case and ask whether what you are seeing might have an underlying cause upon which the C1 Tech Support team can advise to your benefit.
