Loading of previews very long. Why ? I don't understand C1 ?
Hello
Maybe I'm don't understand the workflow of C1 Pro.
I have some folders im my folder pictures from OS X
One contains a folder named \"Originals\"
In this folder I have 13 folders with different projects
The files are TIFF JPG and RAW
If I start C1 and open the 13 folders C1 generate the previews.
Firstly C1 need time for folder with lot of files
I have one with 228 files (JPG and RAW 2.1 GB)
After that in every folder there is a new folder named Capture One Settings
with
Imgagesettings
Previews
Thumbnails
I thought in this folders are preview, so C1 is clever and need not so long time if I open this folder later again.
But C1 need the same long time as before.
WHY ?
Maybe I make something wrong

It ofcourse depends on your computer spec but Capture One is not that brilliant viewing developed files.
Try seperating TIF and JPGs by the self and RAW files by them self.
Try view now a file with only RAW files and it should pick up the pace substanially.0 -

Thanks, I will do so in future
But !!
iView Media Pro is very very faster with Tiff, jpg and Raw on the same Mac.
It has a better code, isn't it

iView media is made for reading and handling that type of files. Capture One is not, it is made for RAW files.
The support for reading developed files are made just for the \"ability\" to do it, nothing else.
Until we have \"true\" jpg/tif support it will be quite slow.
It is a very common feature request and has been reported to R&D.0
