Default colour space and soft proofing
Hi.
I'm getting a little confused and need some help.
I've calibrated my monitor and I have an icc profile for the ink and paper I'm using.
So, I am trying to set up my workflow for soft-proofing.
Just to see how it looked, under the View menu, I selected a Matt profile. I thought I would not see any difference until I clicked the 'Spectacles' icon to enable Recipe Proofing. However, the image is immediately more Matt looking on screen.
But it looks less Matt when I press the 'Spectacles' icon to enable the proofing view.
This seems opposite to what I should experience.
And now, how do I get back to the (essentially) prophoto / full colour space of the UI?
It would help to attach screen shots, but I can't see a way of doing so.
Thanks in advance.

If you apply a Matt profile it may well make an immediate difference on screen, but to get an accurate simulation of the actual effect you need to with cot 100% then click the spectacles.
You can't attach a screenshot, but you can include one in a post by hosting your image somewhere (Dropbox, Flickr, etc) and using the Img tags to provide a link to it.
