My CR3 comes from EOS R , I process them normally in ver 12.03, after update to 12.04, it fails , I back to ver 12.03 , it runs normal again , I updated to ver 12.1 , still in fails .

I reported to capture one support this morning .

After total clean capture one in win7 , I reinstall ver 12.03, C1 cannot open existing session since the session becomes ver 12.1 session .

I saw issue with Canon EOS R and dual pixel raw in the Mac forum. Do you happen to have dual pixel raw enabled in the camera?

When a session file is updated to recognise the features of a new release (12.1) a copy of the old cosessiondb file will be saved.

If you have re-installed V12.0.3 then the copied session file(s) that are at 12.0.3can be renamed and become usable again through 12.0.3.

Any edit performed in 12.1 will not be available but, from what you wrote before, that will not be a problem since it did not work anyway.
