IIRC, HTP of Canon EOS is not processed with CO 4.x or most 3rd party raw processors. This is typically a Canon camera feature primary for in-camera JPEG or raw files processed with Canon's DPP. You can use the Capture One tools like film curve and HDR to recover the highlights.

Along with 'picture styles', HTP will not be carried across to C1, it is a proprietary Canon setting that can either not be accessed by third party software (like C1) or cannot be used for legal reasons?
If you want to take advantage of this you will have to use Canon's DPP software, which gives good results, but IMO is rather clunky.
