Caption and Copyright criteria for passing embedded IPTC

In the last couple of iterations of C1 4 Pro we’ve noticed a number of our images are not being processed with the embedded IPTC fields for caption and copyright, where they were in the past versions. I know they can be modified in the info tab - does this have anything to do with this issue? What are the criteria for reading and passing them through when processing?

    I know this is the Mac forum, but I have the same issue with the Wind*ws version of C1 and have posted this question there:

    it seems to strip my 'Rights Usage Terms' and the 'copyrighted' flag.

    So far no replies...

    IIRC it is a known bug in that it is (or was) expected to be fixed when full writable IPTC support in CO4 Pro/DB was implemented. I noticed same kind of removal as mentioned on certain IPTC fields.

    It wasn't common before the last couple of versions at least in my experience.
