Creating Digital Camera Profiles
I have been using Light Phase 2.9 (Mac) in conjunction with Monaco Profiler 4.5 to create digital camera profiles for the last couple of years obtaining fantasatic results on colour critical subjects.
All digital images are supported by contract quality CMYK proofs in a colour managed workflow.
To create an input target it is necessary to turn off all colour managment options in the camera software which is possible through prefs in Light Phase 2.9
I am now starting to use C1 PRO 3.5 however, I am very concerned that it looks like it is not possible to turn off the colour management options as in 2.9
Reading through the C1 PRO user guide for mac OS X it clearly states on page 94 'It is possible to create your own ICC profiles and use them in the C1 software'
HOW??

I am having exactly the same problem.
How can I capture a linear file so I can create my own custom profile?0 -
In 2.9 you disable colour managment and post apply new profile.
In current you woud add the custom profile with in the software instead of the Phase One profile.
If the software will not accept your profile it is probably due to missing tags, compair your profile to the Phase One profiles to see if something is missing.
You can also let us in the Phase One techincal support team take a look at it by creating a support case at http://support.phaseone.com, remeber to attach your custom profile to the support case.0 -
I also would like to know how to create a file without a colorcync profile
in C1 pro, so i can make my own profiles for my 1Ds MK 2.
I made profiles for my photo phase with excellent results0
