Total loss of quality on export
I am new to Capture One (I have just purchased Leica D-Lux 4 - and Aperture does not support), I am using MAC OS X 10.5.7 and Capture ONE 4.1.3.
In the capture ONE viewer the photos look fine, but when I process (export) in any format the quality totally disappears (and I don't mean slight loss of sharpness) to the point that they look very smooth (pixel-less) in areas and totally blurred in others.
I have noticed I can get the same effect by zooming.
I'm sorry if this is something obvious but I've been stuck on this for two days solid - and I'm getting grumpy!!!!!
Just found a clue (or maybe the answer) - if I turn the Noise reduction totally off the processed photos are okay. Maybe it is simply that the noise reduction is not being displayed in Capture ONE.

CO 4.1.3 is the release you found in the box with your D-Lux 4. Please do yourself a favor, go to the Phase One download site on get the latest (4.8.1). Will continue the discussion (if necessary) after you've done that. 0 -
