Deleting multiple files

I have the same problems, also I cannot delete (or rename) the RAW file if it happens to be open in a developed form as a TIF or a JPG.
MY other complaint is that there is no continuity it would be nice to know that if I have developed TIF, EPS,PSD,JPG files from the RAW..................that renaming the RAW file in CApture ONe would result in the file names being change for the developed images, also that if I delete the RAW image the developed ones would also be deleted at the same time, or to be able to specify that I would like them deleted.

I spend hours trying to delete files, closing programmes and reopening them etc drives me crazy.

    Hello,
I can select multiple files in a catalog but when I want to delete them from the disk (the very bad ones), I have to do them one by one. Is there a shortcut to this ?
Btw, the trash folder doesn't seem to work, I can't get anything into it by drag&drop
    Thanks for any help,
    Nicolas.

Generally, that behavior indicates you do not have the Primary/Selected toggle set for that, it's the icon directly underneath the "HELP" menu (as opposed to under the "HELP" menu itself). That toggle sets wether deletes, develops, etc are set to the primary selection or all selected.

Well, with all due respect...if the program COULD possibly do that (delete develops when RAW is deleted)....well, lets just say it might lead to a lot of infuriated users. The renaming convention is a great idea which could be implemented as soon as computers can make cognitive leaps....

My idea is to delete all unwanted raw files from the disk as I browse through them. The variants button is gray. Should it be yellow ?

I've colour coded all my bad files red and filtered on them. Selected All, but delete only works on 1 file. Not very impressed at all. Great RAW processor, but if I can't easily delete a bunch of files from the drive I am not sure capture one is for me.

If you want a real DAM, try Media Pro. It connects with CO 7, though not perfectly yet.
