Very Sad Affair

the same feelings here at home, with the same reluctance to complain about so far the best soft for raw files development...
But from very, very slow thumbs displaying to very, very poor renaming function, or from the very, very wrong LCC should-be-applied-after-saved-but-no-please-do-it-again to the very nervous rotation and crop tools.., it's hard to understand why we still get the best from our raw files with such a raw piece of sh*t.
Strategy behind this new version was expecting for stronger hands, hope it will get them soon.

    Yes its very frustrating.

By far the best quality RAW program on the market that not only shoots tethered to Phase cameras but Canon and does so very well.

Some stuff still missing from 3.7 but everything that's there so far works but just not very well.

All the building blocks are there but so many features are at the moment, still under construction.

I would just love to know which pro photographers beta tested this program before release. No offence if one of you reads this post but where they the guys who shoot babies in supermarket foyers?

    I have to agree.

There are obviously good features in this software but having to wait so long for this piece of software to find that it won't run on half my Macs. I've had to upgrade my OS, can't open any of my old sessions without losing all settings, live preview doesn't work, stitching has disappeared altogether (yes I really do use these features). And the whole interface / workflow is just horrible.

Like many others I will carry on using 3.7 until 4.5 is sorted out. But I'm due for an upgrade and I'll certainly be looking at the competition properly now.
